The New English Word
Just received this email today. Don't know how long it's been circulating but I thought it's absolutely hilarious.
New word
There are possible plans underway to include a new word to the Oxford and Webster in their 2009 dictionary:
badawi [baa-daa-wee] (noun): To start something full of promise but
end in disappointment, failure and/or disaster.
Eg:
'I'm trusting you to perform this task well; don't do a badawi, ok?'
'Whatever I do, I will always find a way to badawise it.'
‘France badawied their Euro 2008 campaign. England pre-badawied
theirs, while Italy were guilty of over-badawification.’

This badawism is getting me all confused.But I must report that far from badawificating my conference paper last week in liverpool, everything went well. Some people badawilised theirs, unfortunately.

That badawi telling makes this idiom "hangat2 tahi ayam" a thing in the past....or so it was...ok, what is wrong with my conviction aa...? i think i better tidollah....But should he be singing Karma Chameleon then?

I like your name and certainly suit your profession.If my staff told me a Sue is coming ,it has to be a a verb and not a noun hahaha .

My two cent worth of input to today's topic:
1.A field of study whereby students learn flip flopping thoughts,being silence and not sounding stupid in elegant way and sleeping in class is called BODOWILOGY( pron: bo do wee loo G)
2.A disease state wherby on switching off the light you fall asleep no matter the surrounding
BODOWIITIS(pron: bo do wee ai tis)
3.The presence of a person with a personality that tend to attract stupids around his vicinity..the personality is called ..BODOWIGTISM
(PRON: derive from magnetism thus pronounced as bo do wi tee zeem)
4.State of nothingness , calmness and aloft to suffering of ppl around him, the person is said to be the one who has achived a state of BODOWIZEN
